Following many delays over the last two years the children from third and fourth classes celebrated their sacrament of Communion during the months of September and October.
![]() Marathon Kids Programme is back and our 5th and 6th class pupils are signed up to take part. The fun started on next Monday 20th September! Marathon Kids is an 8 week programme where the children will take part in four running sessions each week during school hours. Over the course of the programme they will run (or walk) 26.2 miles to complete their first marathon as well as learning about nutrition and the benefits of physical activity along the way. The daily distances will build up gradually over the 8 weeks until the full marathon distance has been completed. Check out the website www.marathonkidsireland.ie for more information. On Friday, Ms. Long’s class put the clocks forward by 20 years to 2041! Each child dressed up as their future self! We had a doctor, animator, artist, hairdresser, gymnast, business man, architect, builder, photographer, actresses, basketballers, footballers and even a future president!! We talked about our future hopes and aspirations! The future is looking bright!
