Notes from the meeting.
Congratulations to all forty one entries to this year's competition. As usual the standard was excellent. Six winning entries were selected to go forward for entry to the SDCC competition. Congratulations to Neveah, Chelsea, Rehanna, Seán, Ryan, Katie and Tyson on their winning entries. Their decorations can be viewed below. All other entries can be viewed below. The first Green School Committee meeting of the school year was held on Friday 27th of November. Due to current restrictions the meeting was held socially distanced and outdoors. Here are some notes from the meeting:
Returning to school brought great news for two sixth class pupils and one of our past pupils. Their entries in the poster competition in S.D.C.C. were prizewinners. Ms. FitzGerald presented their prizes to them on Friday last. Congratulations!

Poster CompetitionWell done to all the children who entered the 'Design a poster' competition to mark European Action Against Racism Week. All entries were sent to South Dublin County Council for judging. Below are some entries that received a highly commended award at school level.
The Clean and Green team are continuing to meet every Tuesday after school to carry out their gardening work and keep the school grounds litter free.
