HAPPY HALLOWEEN from all the Senior Infants 🎆🍁🍂🌌 We had a lot of fun celebrating all our hard work by having a Halloween sharing party. We ate treats, had a disco in the PE hall and showed our costumes and party clothes to our friends. Thank you to all the parents and guardians for sending in treats! 😊 The children in 2nd really enjoyed their Halloween party, check out their wonderful costumes and lovely art! The children in first class have been learning about feeling safe and unsafe as part of the stay safe programme.
All the children got a special Butterfly tattoo for EB awareness week. 2nd class had a busy afternoon in the PE hall, they enjoyed hours of Maths games in support of Maths week. 10 stations with different activities at each were set up ! Check out the photos below. Children from the three 2nd classes visited their local library in Clondalkin village. They saw a production of Clann Lir. An enjoyable evening was had! The children in Junior Infants have completed all of their initial sounds and they are beginning to blend so that they can read words. Below are examples of how you can practice this skill at home with your child. The children in First Class had a fun Friday morning in the P.E. hall playing Maths games as part of Maths week. Each child took part in 10 different Maths stations. A huge thank you to Ms. Higgins for organising the games. The children in Room 6 have been busy making patterns with different materials in the classroom. They have used straws, beads, counters, uni fix cubes, links and building blocks. They could explain their patterns and drew some of them in their copybooks. Well done Senior Infants! First class children enjoyed a fancy dress Halloween party in school on Friday. Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween break. |
